Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards while maintaining current licensure and BLS certification. This role involves working days in the North County Hazelwood facility, with specific shifts including Mon/Wed 8:30am-6pm, Tue/Th 7:30am-5pm, and Fri 8am-12pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
- ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
