Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Directly supervise patients and provide indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy Service Standards while maintaining current licensure and BLS certification. Work days, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the North County Hazelwood location. This role supports a collaborative, compassionate team dedicated to innovation and excellence in healthcare delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
