Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy mission, values, and service standards. Requires current or temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Schedule includes days shifts with specific hours for Mon/Wed, Tue/Th, and Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Ability to stand and walk during each shift
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
