Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards and departmental policies regarding referral and treatment standards. Work days Monday through Friday with shifts including 8:30am-6:00pm, 7:30am-5:00pm, and 8:00am-12:00pm. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and experience with adult and geriatric care. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days Mon/Wed 8:30Am-6:00 PM, Tue/Th 7:30am-5:00 PM, Fri 8:00am-12:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
