Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards. Requires a current or temporary Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and perform repetitive physical movements. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Days Mon/Wed 8:30Am-6:00 PM, Tue/Th 7:30am-5:00 PM, Fri 8:00am-12:00 PM
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
