Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including pushing, pulling, and lifting 50 lbs regularly alongside prolonged standing and walking. Requires a current or temporary Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and a Master's or Doctorate degree. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
