Job Summary
Conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership supervision. Directly supervise patients while managing indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians and general supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, including pushing, pulling, and lifting 50 lbs regularly, with prolonged standing and walking during shifts. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and a Master's or Doctorate degree. Schedule includes days Mon/Wed 8:30am-6pm, Tue/Thu 7:30am-5pm, and Fri 8am-12pm. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
