Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy Service Standards while maintaining current licensure and BLS certification. Requires ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs, and perform prolonged standing, walking, and bending duties. Shifts include days Mon/Wed 8:30am-6pm, Tue/Th 7:30am-5pm, and Fri 8am-12pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience as a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
