Job Summary
Independent evaluation, determination of treatment strategies, and delivery/ delegation of physical therapy services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged dysfunction or pain, with emphasis on maximizing functional independence. Involves evaluating strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait, and activities of daily living; implementation of therapeutic exercises and other procedures. Requires current state licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification. Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross is required (online certification not acceptable)
