Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore muscle function. Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, and joint abilities, then supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to care plans. Advise patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and assistive device use while maintaining detailed clinical documentation for regulatory compliance. Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and proactively report condition changes to physicians for treatment adjustments. Engage with adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions through compassionate care. Monday through Friday schedule at our Miami rehabilitation center.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, in good standing
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Proficiency in understanding and applying federal and state regulations in physical therapy practice
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in home healthcare settings
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A history of working with interdisciplinary teams
