Job Summary
Interpret physician referrals and select standardized evaluation procedures for patients in relevant physical therapy domains. Evaluate component skills restricting independence and participation, then develop treatment plans involving short and long-term goals, frequency, and duration. Inform patient and family goals and progress while maintaining a full-time caseload across insurance, school-based, consultation, or private pay models. May supervise Certified Physical Therapy Assistants and students. Requires current Oklahoma license or eligibility to sit for the exam, Basic Life Support certification, and professional writing skills for interdisciplinary communication.
Required Qualifications
- Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Physical Therapist OR eligible to sit for the exam
- License must be obtained within six (6) months of hire
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
- Professional writing skills that include the ability to reflect medical necessity in documentation and communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team as well as other stakeholders in a child's plan of care
- Time management skills necessary to meet clinic requirements for clinician efficiency as well as documentation and billing timeframes
