Job Summary
Physical Therapist responsible for directing the Physical Therapy Department staff, developing personalized treatment plans, assessing and reassessing patient needs, coordinating care with physicians, and maintaining records. Requires Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy and an active state license, plus strong communication and teamwork abilities, experience with diverse patient populations, and ability to perform heavy physical tasks as part of clinical duties. Includes involvement in infection control, CQI activities, and staff education/training.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and modalities
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
