Job Summary
Provide 1:1 patient care in a physician-owned outpatient clinic for orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, and sports injury caseloads. Collaborate directly with physicians and other disciplines while managing typical visit lengths of 30 to 60 minutes. Utilize TheraOffice EMR for documentation and ensure accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding aligned with Medicare, third-party, and Workers' Compensation requirements. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with Friday hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, supported by a rehab aide/tech. Join a growing team at this expanding Woodbridge, VA clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA
- Active Virginia Physical Therapy license
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience with outpatient orthopedic, post-operative, general musculoskeletal, and sports injury caseloads
- Familiarity with CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures and knowledge of Medicare, third-party billing, and Workers' Compensation requirements
- Proficiency with Windows-based office technologies (Word, Excel)
- Comfortable communicating directly with physicians and collaborating with other disciplines
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic or sports-related clinical experience
