Physical Therapist - Full Time - Internal Travel Program

Job Summary
Review and evaluate physician referrals and medical records to determine the required physical therapy program, then administer prescribed treatments using therapeutic modalities to restore function and prevent disability. Coordinate services with occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and nursing while maintaining accurate documentation and re-evaluating patient progress to revise treatment plans as necessary. Supervise physical therapy assistants, monitor productivity and staffing needs, and communicate treatment goals to patients, families, and the rehabilitation team. Complete all clinical and billing documentation in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and travel contract terms. Available for internal travel assignments across 10 states with 13-week contracts, requiring personal transportation between visits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy
- A valid registered license is required for Symbria's operating states, or the ability to obtain a license or compact license to support assignments in any designated state
- If using a compact license, must have a full license in your state of residence
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and basic math skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service
- Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to provide own transportation between patient visits and travel assignments
- Available and willing to travel to any location where Symbria provides contracted therapy services
