Physical Therapist - Full-time Inpatient Adult at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct physical therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for inpatient adult patients, including setting goals, implementing therapeutic interventions, and providing patient and family education. Collaborate with physicians, patients, and the healthcare team to manage treatment plans and progress, while supervising physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians. Participate in clinical rounds, meetings, and program development as assigned, and maintain professional competency through annual continuing education and in-service training. Adhere to all Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations regarding the physical environment and patient care.
