Physical Therapist - Full-time Inpatient Adult at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct PT evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for patients, including assessment of functioning, goal setting, discharge recommendations, and therapeutic interventions. Provide patient and family education, progress treatment plans, and utilize documentation forms adhering to PM&R standards. Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians while collaborating with physicians, patients, and other care team members. Participate in meetings, rounds, and program development as assigned by the Clinical Leader. Maintain professional competency through at least 10 annual contact hours of continuing education and provide yearly in-services. Adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. Requires a D.C. Physical Therapy license or eligibility for reciprocity, plus BLS certification.
