Physical Therapist - Full-time Inpatient Adult at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, including assessment of prior and current functioning, goal setting, and discharge recommendations. Deliver treatments according to standards of practice, incorporating patient and family education, treatment plan progression, and therapeutic interventions. Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians while collaborating with physicians, patients, and the broader healthcare team. Coordinate schedules, participate in rounds and meetings, and contribute to program development. Maintain professional competency through continuing education and provide annual in-services. Adhere to Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations. Requires a D.C. physical therapy license and BLS certification.
