Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, including obtaining medical histories, performing system reviews, and administering diagnostic tests to determine appropriate physical therapy diagnoses and treatment plans. Develop and execute individualized plans of care specifying interventions, frequency, and timing while coordinating with interdisciplinary professionals and support staff. Perform ongoing reexaminations to monitor patient progress, modify interventions as needed, and ensure safety and policy compliance. Provide timely patient and family education to optimize outcomes and facilitate discharge. Maintain accurate documentation, outcomes data collection, and patient scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science program in Physical Therapy with curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- New York State Physical Therapist licensure and registration
- One-year experience as a staff physical therapist under qualified supervision

- DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
