Job Summary
Formulate comprehensive treatment programs by evaluating patient history, impairments, and functional status to maximize outcomes for patients with CVA, SCI, amputation, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Prioritize care needs and accurately assess rehabilitation requirements throughout the continuum of care, providing appropriate disposition, equipment, education, and treatment recommendations. Document all treatments and progress concisely in accordance with professional, departmental, and regulatory compliance standards while functioning as part of the multidisciplinary team. Requires a current NYS license, inpatient acute experience, and a B.S., Master's, or Doctorate degree.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master's degree or Clinical Doctorate of physical therapy degree
- Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
- Inpatient acute Physical Therapist experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written
