Job Summary
Evaluate patients, develop individual treatment programs per physician prescriptions, and formulate plans in coordination with medical staff. Implement activities to treat physical disabilities, disorders, and injuries while providing patient and family teaching on home exercise programs. Document treatments including two-week progress reports, monthly summaries, and discharge summaries. Administer medications safely per policy and assist in clinically supervising physical therapist assistants and students. Participate in employee education, new program development, staff meetings, and continuing education. Requires a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, current Wisconsin licensure, and BLS/CPR certification. Salary ranges from $35.00 to $55.00/hr with commitment bonuses and tuition assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in: Physical Therapy
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Wisconsin
- Ability to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend the English language
