Job Summary
Conduct physical examinations to assess range of motion, strength, balance, and coordination for incarcerated individuals with complex medical and dental needs. Develop individualized treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and restore function while tracking progress and adjusting care as required. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care, educate patients on self-care strategies, and maintain accurate documentation in adherence to correctional healthcare policies and legal standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree in Arizona
- current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state where you are practicing
- active BLS/CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
