Job Summary
Evaluate various patient types to identify physical dysfunction and capabilities, facilitating appropriate treatment plans. Perform initial evaluations, establish realistic goals with patient involvement, and document progress efficiently. Coordinate with interdisciplinary services and ensure thorough documentation of treatment processes. Provide patient education for rehabilitation and participate in student instruction. Engage in community education efforts and contribute to departmental program development. Commitment to personal growth and attendance at continuing education courses is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire
- Physical Therapy (PT) license required
