Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under therapy leadership supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and oversee rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Maintain current licensure and BLS certification while adhering to Mercy Service Standards and departmental policies. Requires full-time 40-hour schedule, ability to lift 50 lbs, and prolonged standing. Located at Mercy Hospital Stoddard in Dexter, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
- BLS certified
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
