Job Summary
Evaluates, plans, and performs treatments to alleviate physical dysfunction using various techniques. Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Analyzes and interprets data, provides individualized treatment plans to prevent or restore movement dysfunction, educates patients and families, and collaborates with team members. Supervises therapist assistants and participates in department quality improvement activities. Requires proficiency in physical therapy practices and adherence to department-specific competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from accredited PT school or equivalent
- Current license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Successful completion of National Physical Therapy Board Examination
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
