Job Summary
Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating patients’ need for physical therapy and planning/executing individualized treatment programs in accordance with licensure and PT scope of practice. Role includes documenting status, establishing writeable treatment goals with patients and families in collaboration with the treatment team, delegating to PT assistants as appropriate, coordinating discharge planning, and maintaining competency in relevant software/hardware. Requires CAPTE qualification, state licensure, and BLS certification; preferred LSVT training/certification. Demonstrates commitment to Mary Free Bed’s pillars of excellence and patient-centered interdisciplinary care across outpatient locations with potential travel as organizational needs dictate.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- Licensure is required in every US State and Territory the Therapist is practicing
- Possesses and maintains BLS certification to meet department/program protocol
