Job Summary
Assess patients' medical histories and current physical conditions, diagnose movement patterns by observing patients and listening to their concerns, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Establish clear goals and expected outcomes for each treatment plan, then utilize exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to reduce pain, improve mobility, and prevent future injuries. Educate patients and families on the recovery process and self-care techniques. Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required with valid license and National Certification Examination completion. Background screening through the Florida Clearinghouse is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Successful completion of the National Certification Examination
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of practice
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Background screening through the Florida Clearinghouse
