Job Summary
Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy role providing evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing care for patients. Responsibilities include collecting and recording patient data, developing and implementing a treatment plan of care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, documenting daily notes and billing per department guidelines, and educating patients and support systems. Requires licensure as a Physical Therapist in the practicing state, CEU compliance, CPR certification, EMR proficiency, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree required, Doctorate degree preferred
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Experience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferred
- Excellent oral, written communication
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
