Job Summary
Provide physical therapy services to individuals with impairments or functional changes due to injury or disease, focusing on improving functional outcomes and quality of life. Include education for other medical professionals, prevention and wellness services such as screenings, and collaboration with patients and families to develop and update a comprehensive plan of care. Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and manual physical therapy techniques; able to observe, assess, and document patient progress; instruct and motivate patients; supervise trainees; and adapt interventions while maintaining professional documentation and ensuring safe, effective care. Maintain productivity standards and participate in interprofessional team communication to optimize patient care.
