Job Summary
Physical Therapist at Charlotte Bay Rehab and Care Center in Port Charlotte, Florida. Full-time role providing rehabilitation services to residents, including evaluation, development of individualized treatment plans, and delivery of PT interventions such as gait training, ambulation, strengthening, balance training, endurance, posture control, and coordination activities. Responsibilities include applying modalities based on diagnosis, training residents in adaptive equipment (orthotics and prosthetics), collaborating with physicians and rehabilitation staff, monitoring progress, participating in care plan meetings, supervising support staff, and educating residents and families on mobility techniques and progress expectations. Requires an active, unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist license and a commitment to resident-focused care.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- Strong clinical knowledge of rehabilitation practices and interventions
