Physical Therapist

Instruct patients and families on physical activities, assistive device usage, and treatment procedures while re-evaluating patient progress to adapt therapy plans. Confers with physicians and other practitioners to integrate physical therapy with broader care, and evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices. Provides direct patient care activities in the home environment according to physician orders, including assessment, evaluation, and treatment planning. This role supports the Alton Intermittent Home Care Department, which serves over 25 counties in Missouri and Illinois. Coverage includes Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with holiday and weekend rotations, but no on-call duty.
