Job Summary
Conduct home health visits for adult and geriatric clients in the Harrisonburg, VA area, performing diagnostic tests for mobility, balance, and strength while implementing wound care interventions. Develop and revise individualized care plans that include manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions, then educate clients and family members on rehabilitative activities. Accurately document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current VA Physical Therapist license, graduation from an accredited program, and strong computer skills with EMR experience. Base pay ranges from $65.00 to $75.00 per point, with an up to $5,000 sign-on bonus available for full-time candidates.
Required Qualifications
- A current VA Physical Therapist - PT license
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills
