Job Summary
Evaluate and assess patients referred to the Physical Therapy & Hand Center, then formulate specific treatment plans and goals based on individualized needs. Implement approved physical therapy services, supervise assistants and aides, and participate in treatment reviews and case conferences. Provide educational services, maintain inventory and cleanliness of clinical areas, and ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Develop relationships with physicians to maximize patient care and therapy volume. Requires a current state license, accredited curriculum graduation, BLS and CPR certification, and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- current and valid license under the applicable state laws to practice physical therapy
- graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum
- successfully completed Basic Cardiac Life Support training
- current CPR card
- ability to pass a drug screening
