Job Summary
Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability, alleviate pain, and enhance functional mobility. Evaluate patients' physical abilities using diagnostic tools to determine therapy needs, while overseeing physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to established plans. Administer manual therapeutic exercises, assess home environments for rehabilitation suitability, and educate patients and families on treatment processes and device usage. Regularly document patient progress, report changes to the interdisciplinary team, and participate in case conferences to adjust treatment approaches. Prepare detailed clinical records to ensure regulatory compliance and engage in continuous professional development. This full-time, onsite Monday-to-Friday position offers a salary range of USD 100,000–120,000 at Lifepoint Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A current Physical Therapy license in good standing for the state of Illinois
- A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting
- Current CPR certification
- Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
