Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide direct treatment services under the supervision of a physical therapist, ensuring adherence to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating patient treatment plans, administering exercises, documenting patient progress, and communicating treatment techniques. A valid PTA license and experience in a patient-centered environment are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid PTA license
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, theory, methods and their application in a patient centered environment
- Good diagnostic and clinical skills
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
