Job Summary
Assist physical therapists in implementing patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength. Prepare patients for therapy and return trips, manage dressing and brace equipment, and record data progress during sessions. Measure range of motion, answer inquiries, order supplies, and educate patients on home exercise routines. Clean and prepare equipment, straighten rooms, and track patient exercise counts. Requires a valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license and CPR certification. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license
- A current CPR certification
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during work hours
- Ability to transport/support patients such as pushing wheel chairs
