Job Summary
Implement treatment plans and evaluate patient progress while performing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training. Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques and home programs, applying modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Maintain accurate patient records, ensure a safe treatment environment, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. Work 12 visits per 8-hour day with flextime between 7am-7pm Monday-Friday. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Texas state license or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
- Proficiency in exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment plans
- Goal-oriented mindset with a determination to achieve professional objectives
- Empathetic approach to patient care and ability to motivate others
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry best practices
- Schedule: Flextime (flexibility may depend on current staffing) between 7am-7pm Monday-Friday
- Caseload/Productivity expectations: 12 visits per 8 hour day
