Job Summary
Provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by the Physical Therapist. Record treatments given and note progress in medical records. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is provided to residents at all times while treating them with kindness, dignity, and respect. Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures. Maintain a positive, professional image that encourages cooperation among co-workers and protects residents' personal and property rights, including knocking before entering rooms.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program
- Successful completion of certificate/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have current registration/licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist Assistant
