Job Summary
Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Assist the physical therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment programs while maintaining positive interactions with clients and facility staff. Ensure all practices align with state mandates, Select Medical policies, and procedures. Requires a valid state license, CPR certification, and recent outpatient experience. Schedule includes Monday through Friday evenings until 7:00 p.m. with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including unlimited CEU access.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants
- Must have passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE
- Must have outpatient rotation if a student
- Must have outpatient experience within the last 3 years if not a student
- State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
