Job Summary
Provide direct patient care following established treatment plans and clinical guidelines while monitoring patient progress and communicating updates to the supervising Physical Therapist. Accurately document patient findings, progress, and education provided to patients and caregivers. Collaborate with physicians, insurance providers, and team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes and support a positive, encouraging, and team-oriented clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Virginia PTA license
- CPR certification
- Ability to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate, individualized care
- Self-motivated
- Positive
- Team-oriented
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and an exceptional patient experience
