Job Summary
Conduct therapeutic interventions for patients under Physical Therapist supervision, including modality treatments, gait training, manual therapy, and ADL training. Record patient progress in medical charts, report status to physicians, and instruct patients on assistive devices and home exercises. Provide guidance to PTA students and assist in quality assurance programs while ensuring technical proficiency in therapy principles. Maintain current Pennsylvania licensure, CPR certification, and EMR system skills. Required Qualifications
- Must have certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Pennsylvania
- Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
- Current state of PA licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- CPR certification
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office
