Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant role requiring a PTA graduate who has taken or is eligible to take the NPTE and holds or is eligible for state licensure. Duties include assessing residents’ physical therapy needs, matching services to the treatment program, meeting with residents regularly, evaluating and maintaining progress records under supervision of the Physical Therapist, staying current with professional literature, and attending seminars to maintain licensure. Requires effective verbal and written communication with residents, staff, and family members to convey program progress.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Has taken NPTE or is eligible to take NPTE
- State license to practice as a PTA or eligible to apply for one
