Job Summary
Assist in the evaluation and treatment of geriatric patients with physical impairments or disabilities by implementing individualized treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist. Monitor patient progress to make necessary adjustments, educate patients and families on home exercise routines, and document progress while maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and maintain a safe, clean treatment environment. Stay current with new techniques and advancements in physical therapy. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $45-48/hour, relocation assistance, and sign-on incentives for qualified candidates with an Associate's degree and valid state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
