Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, treating both inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include executing treatment plans, maintaining patient records, and facilitating communication with the healthcare team. The role requires a valid unrestricted driver’s license, completion of an accredited training program, and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. As part of the responsibilities, the assistant will engage in geriatric and pediatric care, wound management, and community education programs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant State License
- Associate of Occupational/Applied Science Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant School accredited by CAPTE
- Successfully pass the Physical Therapist Assistant board exam

- Navajo/Indian Preference in Employment Policy
- Enrollment in the Navajo Nation for primary preference
