Physical Therapist Assistant

PRN Physical Therapist Assistant provides patient care under a licensed therapist, follows treatment plans, documents per guidelines, and records daily treatment charges. Educates families and nursing staff on restorative/home programs, communicates patient progress with the supervisor and health team, and participates in interdisciplinary meetings, in-service training, and facility performance-improvement activities. May travel between facilities as determined by supervisor and patient needs. Requires graduation from an accredited PTA program with current state licensure and the ability to work with various patient populations; physical requirements include moving and lifting up to 50 lbs. Willingness to participate in continuing education and maintain supervision as per state guidelines.
