Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), work with licensed physical therapists to administer physical therapy treatments and modalities, support patients in regaining mobility and independence, educate patients throughout rehabilitation, coordinate and oversee responsibilities of PT technicians, maintain documentation and treatment records, participate in department operations and quality improvement initiatives, contribute to budget planning and cost-effective practices, ensure infection prevention and safety training, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver outstanding patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school for Physical Therapy Assistants
- Current State Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure
- Current BCLS (CPR) certification
