Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement rehabilitation exercises including stretching, strengthening, and flexibility activities. Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under supervision while communicating progress updates to patients, families, and the healthcare team. Maintain accurate patient care records and participate in quality improvement initiatives. This role requires current Michigan PTA licensure and the ability to lift and transfer patients in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Michigan
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed
