PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include administering treatment programs, documenting treatments and patient condition, assessing patient status, proposing and implementing treatment goals, performing patient evaluation and interventions, and instructing patients on physical therapy interventions and home exercise programs. Requires an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, a valid PTA license in the state of practice, and at least 3+ years of clinical experience.
