Physical Therapist Assistant

Implement selected components of patient interventions, obtain related data, and modify treatments to progress patients or ensure safety as directed by a physical therapist. Provide quality physical therapy services including execution of the established treatment plan. Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the prescribed course of treatment. Communicate patient treatment progression, changes, and recommended medical follow-up to team members. Educate and counsel patients regarding treatment issues, goals, safety risks, and other scope-of-practice matters. Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning.
