Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant at SportsCare Physical Therapy assists licensed physical therapists in evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating patients, with a focus on sports-related injuries. Responsibilities include conducting initial patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, administering therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy, educating patients and caregivers, monitoring progress, maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring equipment cleanliness, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care. Requires an Associate's degree, state licensure/certification as a PTA, CPR certification, strong communication skills, anatomy/physiology knowledge, and a collaborative healthcare approach.
