Physical Therapist Assistant

Conduct therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in compliance with State and Federal guidelines. Consult with the PT regarding treatment changes, communicate with patients, families, and referring physicians, and participate in care planning and family training meetings. Complete daily documentation, progress notes, discharge summaries, and monthly reports; submit billing, payroll, and expense documentation timely. Ensure equipment is functional, maintain a clean environment, and follow organizational policies for patient safety. Attend continuing education seminars, required meetings, and in-services as designated. Maintain valid licensure, certification, and CPR certification.
